The Heights Bicycle Coalition has seen tremendous success since its inception in the spring of 2010. In August, we received over 500 signatures in support of our objective to improve bicycle infrastructure in Cleveland Heights. In response, the City Council embraced this goal, with mayor Ed Kelley announcing, “we’re with you on this!” Our campaign to install sharrows on five key thoroughfares will be realized this month as the city installs the first road markings on Euclid Heights Boulevard and Edgehill Road by November 15th.
