Heights Bicycle Coalition board member and chairperson on the HBC Encouragement Committee, Debra Franke, deserves many thanks for organizing, finding and promoting rides in June.  The revised list below includes only those rides yet to come as of June 18, 2017:

Heights Bike Coalition

Family Bike Ride around Shaker Lakes

Heights Bike Coalition will lead a Family Bike Ride around the Shaker Lakes, on Saturday, June 24, 1-3 p.m.. The ride will start and end at the Fairfax Elementary School playground, corner of Lee and Scarborough Roads in Cleveland Heights. 

The ride will include a stop at the Horseshoe Lake playground and other park attractions. Kids, parents and grandparents are welcome. Adult riders – please bring a snack so no one runs out of pedal power!

Slow Roll  

This group ride is every Monday at 7 p.m.  The upcoming lineup includes June 19 – Jefferson Park, Bellaire Puritas; June 26 – Asiatown. See more info >>Read more.

Night Ride on the Towpath

Saturday, June 24, is the next monthly ride of the tow path in the dark. The June ride is called “Pajama Party Night Ride”; dress accordingly.  The rides leaves from Century Cycles in Peninsula at 8:00 p.m., but get there early.  Your bike must have lights. >> Read more.

Critical Mass

Friday, June 30, is the next date for this group ride, which takes place regularly on the last Friday of each month.  The ride leaves from Public Square at 6:30 pm. >>Read more.
